For over 30 years, Chris Stongle has been designing and illustrating for eagerly awaiting clients. Drumz Dezign was founded in 1986 under the name of Chris Expressions and grew to the passionate company that it is today.
It all started by designing numbers for the other kids' bikes when they were racing around the block. All the kids wanted their number to be created by Chris. He'd take a coloring book and rip off the cover and have a bright white canvas in which to create the racers' identity. He also had a love of drawing anything and everything...focusing on caricatures, portraits, Dr. Suess characters and trying to draw everything in the satirical MAD magazine! This grew into designing logos for uncles and close friends by hand. He found a job at a print company as a delivery driver and one of the press operators saw his portfolio. The office had just purchased this computer called a Mac and there was an opening for a talented artist in the graphic department. He had the opportunity to learn, from a traditional print master, the proper ways of type setting while learning the illustrating tools of the Mac. This led to creating logos and identities for companies like Bill Daniels (the father of cable), Bill McCartney, the founder of Promise Keepers, Prime Sports Network, United Artists to name a few. After 10 years of 'wowing' large and small business owners, he moved to an Advertising company and the learned the art of corporate marketing and calibrating with flash animators, IT Specialists and Art Directors.
He ventured out on his own and created his own design company to better serve his growing number of private clients. Chris continues to 'WOW' his clients and the surge to become client on the Wall of Fame doesn't have an ending in sight.
